I was so delighted with Kay’s mom contacted me about photographing Kay’s senior session portraits. For her senior session, we picked downtown Grapevine, TX for its quaint charm and lovely architectural structures.
Kay has a beautiful smile and an infectuous laugh. I love that she wore her mom’s pearl necklace, a special gift from her mother’s late father. She brought daisies which were so fun (flowers are always a wonderful, easy, and inexpensive prop). We shot for a little while in front of some lovely Corinthian columns on Main Street in Grapevine.
Nearby, we shot some wonderful photos in front of the old Palace Theatre. The old flooring in front of the theatre provided the backdrop for this beautiful shot featuring Kay’s blue eyes.
When Kay showed up excited about the day and ready to have fun, I knew we were going to have a blast together, and we did! (Moms: It’s awesome when you send your senior alone to shoot with me, like Kay’s mom did! We have a great time, and their senior session will almost always show off the most natural smiles.)
Kay’s boyfriend helped her picked out her clothes and did a fantastic job! I loved the colors and textures.
Congratulations to sweet Kay! I SO loved spending the morning together for her senior session. Best of luck as you graduate and head off to college this fall.
